Specialising in CBT, ERP & ACT for obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and health anxiety.

I am an OCD and health anxiety specialist with a special interest, enhanced training and experience working with OCD and health anxiety.
I support individuals with OCD using evidence‑based approaches, primarily Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Together, we work to understand the patterns of obsessions and compulsions that keep the OCD cycle going. I will introduce structured exposures at a pace that feels manageable.
Alongside reducing physical and mental compulsions ACT helps you develop a more flexible, compassionate relationship with intrusive thoughts - learning to notice them without getting pulled into analysing them.
I support individuals with health anxiety using evidence based models of CBT and ACT. We will formulate what is keeping your cycle of health anxiety going. You will have developed safety behaviours and avoidance as a way to cope. Let me show you that you do not need to rely on these and you can stop these habits with support. - resulting in a more peaceful and happy life.
My approach is warm and collaborative, ensuring you feel supported and in control throughout the process. Over time, client confidence grows, their world becomes less restricted, and they regain a sense of freedom from OCD’s bullying demands.
Using CBT we can explore how your thoughts, emotions, behaviours and physical symptoms are all linked and work to break any unhelpful cycles.
Using CBT & ERP we can work together so you feel safe enough to stop compulsions and break the cycle of OCD.
Using ACT I can help you to embrace what is out of your control while committing to actions which align with your values.
Mindfulness practices will help you enjoy the present moment- something that is often stolen from us when struggling with poor mental health.
